Welcome to our elementary music website. At Fairview we have K-2 music classes twice a week. During that time we learn:

-How to read music.

-How to play a variety of instruments including xylophone, glockenspiel, triangle, hand drums, and many others!

-About music from other cultures and countries including polka, salsa, and African drumming.

-About music that developed in the United States, including jazz and folk music.
