Is ABE For Me?

Adult Basic Education (ABE) is for you if you want to:

  • Prepare for the GED (high school equivalency diploma)
  • Take a GED practice test • Brush up on skills before enrolling in college
  • Review math skills to help your children
  • Get confidential one-to-one reading help And, believe it or not, Adult Basic Education is free.

You can start whenever you are ready. You work at your own pace with the help of a teacher during the class sessions. Please call Julie at the Mora Community Education office (320) 679-6200 before you attend your first class session.

 

GOOD NEWS…

The Official GED Test is given at the Cambridge-Isanti Education Center (625 Main Street, Cambridge, MN) in the Community Room.  Please enter through door #5 (Community Entrance).

A free packet that fully explains the GED (high school equivalency diploma) program is ready for you! Just call Julie at the Community Education office (320) 679-6200 to ask for it. The packet includes a description of the GED Test, sample questions, and a schedule of free classes in our area that will help you prepare for the GED.
